Chris Morris
Adrian's work with Chris Morris began with the original music and sound design for the first series of Blue Jam
in 1997. Originally intended a series of six programmes running late at night on BBC Radio 1, its dreamy,
disconnected ambience of bizarre sketches and music drew a large following, and soon expanded to a
second and third series in 1998 and 1999, with repeats of all three series following in recent years,
as well as a CD release of highlights.
The radio series developed subsequently into an idea for a six-part TV series entitled Jam
(first aired on Channel 4 in the year 2000). This drew visual versions of sketches from the Blue Jam
radio series together with new material. Also aired was a 'late-night' version of the series, Jaaaam,
featuring more experimental treatment of video and audio effects.
Adrian also worked with Chris on his first film: "My Wrongs #8245-8249 & 117", that took the BAFTA for
Best Short Film in 2003. Adrian and Chris co-wrote the music and sound design.
Starring Paddy Considine as a 'man with no name' (because he thinks he's ceased to deserve one) and a talking dog called Rothko, the film gained instant wide acclaim, selling over 2000 DVDs on its first release day.
