Adrian Sutton
After training at London University Goldsmiths College, Adrian embarked on a highly-successful writing career that now spans more than 15 years.
His recent scores for two hit productions in succession at the National Theatre in London have received critical acclaim; Coram Boy in 2005/06, and War Horse in 2007/08. For both these shows he received Olivier nominations, and Coram Boy went on to open on Broadway in 2007. War Horse has become one of the most successful shows ever mounted by the National Theatre.
Further recent work at the National included Melly Still's production of The Revenger's Tragedy, a score which Adrian not only wrote (collaborating with electronica/house producers Different Gear) but performed nightly as a violinist/violist.
Away from theatre, Adrian spent many years collaborating as a composer and sound designer with Chris Morris on projects including the 2003 BAFTA-winning short film 'My Wrongs', the award-winning Blue Jam radio series, and the 'Jam' TV series.
His long list of other credits include countless advertising commissions, the scores for three feature films and a 13-part children's animation series.
